the smell of hairspray,
the way it feels to slide your finger over the page as you turn it,
yellow, seafoam green, teal, robin's egg blue,
wooden crates,
ceiling fans,
chalkboard paint,
radicchio,
bravery,
story-telling,
paint brushes,
water,
trusting in it,
lavender hand soap,
japanese masking tape,
spelling 'check' as 'cheque',
the ocean,
friday night lights,
the smell of a theatre,
the sound of tiny feet pat-pat-pattering as they run across the porch,
the type of laughter that comes from your gut,
the type of crying that comes from your gut,
paying attention to the lessons the world is trying to teach you,
sandwiches,
the people who always answer the phone,
fresh juice,
the people who always answer the phone,
fresh juice,
Love:
i am grateful for you.
you absolutely just made me smile so so big! xoxox
ReplyDeleteah thank you!! you gave me a big ol' smile right back :)
Deleteso glad you found my blog! this is so lovely. it excites me because when you wrote about "cheque" i immediately thought of my eternal commitment to the r and e placement in "theatre"...and then you spelled it that way a couple lines later! you have good taste in spelling.
ReplyDeletehaha thank you! i am a firm believer in the spelling of 'theatre' with the -re as well :) seems so wrong to go the other way with it. so glad you found me right back!
